LMM Solutions recognises the importance of protecting the privacy of information collected about our clients, and members of the public, in particular information that is capable of identifying an individual (“personal information”). This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which personal information obtained by LMM Solutions will be dealt with.

This information is generally so that we have ownership and tenancy records and have appropriate methods of contacting you in the course of conducting our business.

Personal information is used only for the purpose for which it is submitted, unless we disclose other uses in this Privacy Policy, or at the time of collection. Copies of correspondence sent to us that may contain personal information, may be archived for record-keeping and back-up purposes only.

The Unit Titles (Management) Act requires that if you are a member of an Executive Committee your contact details must be provided to owners upon request. Of course, prior notice will be provided to EC members to inform them of such.

5. Ensuring accuracy and choice of communication channel

In the interests of keeping in contact with all our clients, we always seek to have up-to-date contact details in whichever is the preferred channel of communication (e.g. home address, mailing address or PO Box for letter mail, email address, telephone, mobile or SMS, etc).

If you are a current Executive Committee member, please be aware that section 117 of the Unit Titles (Management) Act requires your contact details be made available as follows:

On request by an eligible person for a unit or the common property, the owners corporation must, free of charge, give the person the full names and addresses of its current executive members within 14 days after the request is received.

Our commitment is to take all reasonable steps to ensure that the information we hold is accurate, complete and up-to-date. At any time, you can request a change in this information to designate your preferred contact method and correct our records if something has changed.

6. Disclosure

LMM Solutions may use email addresses provided for contacting new and existing clients in the future. However, we do not sell or pass on any personal information to third parties.

7. Security

LMM Solutions strives to ensure the security, integrity and privacy of personal information submitted to us. As such our ICT systems and networks employ security controls and protocols to protect personal information, including use of Certificates and Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS) to encrypt communication between you and website and owner's portal.

We also employ multi-layered Anti-Spam and Anti-Malware protection from viruses and spyware on our email servers to protect your data in our systems. We take security very seriously and therefore all reasonable steps to protect the personal information transmitted to us.

In addition, LMM Solutions employees and contractors are obliged to respect the confidentiality of any personal information held by us.

In the interests of providing useful content and relevant resources, we publish links to external sites on our website and in our blog. We take care to ensure we have selected reputable sources for these links at the time these links are posted.

However as these are third party sites outside of our control, we cannot guarantee the integrity, security, relevance or conduct of those sites, or who maintains their content. In addition, web domain ownership changes from time to time and it is possible a third party site may have changed substantially from when we first posted a link to it.
